Democrats Running for Election!
State Supreme Court Justices: There were five judges running on the Democrat line and you could have voted for all of them! Thomas Davis, Robert Berliner, James Hyer, Christie D'Alessio, and Thomas Quinones.
Family Court Judge: Rachel Saunders is running on the Democrat and Working Families line. Unfortunately, she did not win.
County Comptroller: Incumbent Robin Lois is running on the Democrat and Working Families line. She won!
County Legislator: Depending on which of the three County Legislative Districts you are in, you will see either Barrington Atkin (District 10), Randy Johnson (District 9), or Craig Brendli (District 8) on the ballot. All three are incumbents! Barrington and Randy are running unopposed. (Visit our Current Representatives page for a map of the County Legislative Districts.) They all won!
Councilmember at Large: Incumbent Sarah Salem is running on the Democrat and Working Families line (unopposed). They won!

- Ward 1: Debra Long (Democrat line) is running against a challenger. She won!
- Ward 2: Incumbent Evan Menist is running unopposed on the Democrat and Working Families lines. He won!
- Ward 3: Incumbent Lorraine Johnson is running unopposed on the Democrat line. She won!
- Ward 4: Nathan Shook (Democrat line) is running against a challenger. He won!
- Ward 5: Incumbent Yvonne Flowers is running unopposed on the Democrat line. She won!
- Ward 6: Incumbent Natasha Cherry is running unopposed on the Democrat line. She won!
- Ward 7: Nedra Thompson (Democrat line) is running against a challenger. She won!
- Ward 8: Alana Wade won the Democratic primary over the summer but has resigned from the race. Her name will still appear on the Democrat line. There are two other registered Democrats on the ballot for that position, each running on newly created lines: Laurie Sandow (on the People for PK line) and Megan Deichler (on the Community First line). If Alana Wade "wins" the election despite her resignation, the position will be filled by an appointment from the Common Council. Megan Deichler won!
